Hey, DrLong: what are the specs like for these 3 variants?
According to the single leaflet 'brochure', the 1.6L engine isn't equipped with neither VTC nor CVTC while the 1.8L has CVTC.
It's kinda baffling since the LATIO 1.6 has VTC (variable valve timing).
Internal trim are pretty much the same - all have fabric seats - except for some cabin 'wood' panellings for the 1.8. All versions also have disc/drums brakes combo, but equipped with ABS + EBD + BA.
I have only witnessed the 1.6L Auto at a showroom today so I can't say much about the differences in the 1.8 CVTC.
I notice that the entry to the third row seat by pulling the belt on the second is quite difficult and the 1.6 m / a is on equipted with cvtc its really embarasing,
