The biggest winner this year is Honda, winning in 3 categories: Premium Small Car, Performance Car & Midi MPV. Congrats! I was expecting Toyota Vios to win the Entry level Car but I guess in Bolehland, nationalism is very strong.
Honda the biggest winner? I would have thought it was Mazda that came out the biggest winner seeing that 2 cars won 3 categories including the covetted COTY 2008 award. And seeing the size of company, Mazda is definitely no giant compared to the likes of Toyota and Honda.
It was a close fight between the Mazda6 2.5 and the Honda Accord 2.4 in the 'Executive Car of the Year' category!
The COTY wasn't exactly a shootout report but an assessment (scoring) based on a set of criteria.
IMHO, both are very good vehicles but in the end, it has boiled down to that extra "Wow!" factor I guess ;)
